To process and fulfil your orders
To send order confirmations and shipping updates
To handle returns, complaints, and customer service
To send marketing emails (only with your consent)
To comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax records)

3. RETENTION PERIODS

Order data: 7 years (Dutch fiscal law — Algemene wet inzake rijksbelastingen)
Marketing data: until you unsubscribe
Account data: as long as your account is active + 1 year
Customer service communications: 2 years

4. YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR/AVG) You have the right to: access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, and port your data. You may also object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. Submit requests to: privacy@maisonjeanp.com. We respond within 30 days.

5. SHARING YOUR DATA We share data with: Shopify (platform), payment providers, shipping carriers, and email marketing tools — only as necessary to fulfil your order or operate our store. We do not sell your data.
